Dominique was sentenced to 12 years in prison, but Judge Willet released him on
shock after serving 6 and half months. Dominique is very gifted and talented,
while serving his brief time he was allowed to live outside of the fence at the
prison because he was a good candidate for CHANGE. He has struggled in some areas,
but is working to improve his life for himself and his son. -
"I'd like to thank you all for everything you've done to help my daughter.
As a parent, we do the best we can and our children make choices. But
thanks to organizations like Joshua Community Connectors, young people
are allowed to thrive."

Melicia has a one year old daughter and comes from
a very supportive family, but she has made some mistakes
which had put her in a position to be incarcerated. She has
turned her life around and just moved into her first apartment.
She looks forward to the day when she can help others.
